We were approached by Virgin Atlantic to update the existing logo for their flying without fear programme which has been running since 1997 and helps 2000-3000 people every year overcome their fear of flying.

We explored various concepts that related to flying/flying objects including the existing imagery of kites as well as wings, birds etc, and comforting notions such as hearts and rounded, relaxing type.

Flying Without Wings
The concept chosen was a bird/tick which incorporated the element of flying but also had a positive connotation attached. It was an adaptable graphic that could be used across a wide range of media.
